Enjoy Fountain Valley's parks and nature trails and be sure to watch for wildlife.  Deer, antelope, wild turkeys, blue herons and other wildlife can be viewed at the area nature centers.

Heritage Park
This new developing park will consist of playground structures, openfields, trails, benches and a gazebo.  Heritage Subdivision, Near Fountain Mesa and Ancestra

Metcalfe Park
Playground, baseball fields, riding and roping arena, skateboard park, covered pavilions and barbecue area.  The Metcalfe Park Gazebo is 54 foot in diameter with a three tier architecture.  The Gazebo is available for community attractions as well as private reservations.

The nature center includes exhibits of the wildlife in the area, discovery and learning programs, guided hikes and other programs including these seasonal favorites:

The nature center is open Tuesdays through Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. year round and open Sundays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Summer hours.
